Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Filling a critical role in the lifecycle of our products, the reliability engineer oversees the assessment and management of the reliability of GenCell’s product development and manufacturing which has significant impact on product performance at customer locations. Responsible to lead product validation in the labs and at customer sites and to predict failures and highlight any issues.

The primary focus is to determine the reliability of product components and manufacturing processes, identify potential failures, investigate and explain the root causes and underlying reasons for existing or potential issues. Involves close interaction with team members in Engineering and R&D to assess reliability issues of current and future products.

Requirements
  • B.Sc or M.Sc. in an engineering discipline, preferable Electronics
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
  • Ability to lead a small team of testing engineers and a reliability test lab
  • Assumption of active role in new systems design
  • Experience in FMEA, FMECA, FTA, FRACAS, running MTBF, MTTF and other prediction of failures tests
  • Application of general engineering knowledge to solve problems
  • Experience in DOE and analysis
