Sales Director, West Coast (G5)

GenCell is seeking a sales director for its G5 line of fuel cell backup power solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Penetrating new market sales and identifying new opportunities in telecom, mission critical (first responders, data centers, hospitals) and niche industrial markets
  • Establishing the product positioning via direct sales and distributors
  • Managing operations to meet company targets for the region
  • Providing full accountability for all aspects of business operations for West Coast of USA
  • Supporting appointed distributors in recruiting and training sales teams

 

Requirements:

  • Lives on West Coast of USA or has the ability to frequently fly to the West Coast
  • Proven B2B track record selling technical products and solutions
  • Work experience in the following sectors: energy/power/UPS/solar panels, renewables, diesel generator manufacturers/resellers, battery
  • Work experience at a start-up company (advantage)
  • Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality; taking ownership of all sales and pre sales activities.
  • Excellent networking skills
