Owning, hitting and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory, segment or accounts.
Recruit and enable representatives and distributors.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations & proposals.
Requirements:
Academic degree or equivalent, preferably with technical qualifications and/or experience in electrical engineering, coupled with financial qualifications or training.
Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves working with annual budgets as well as producing financial reports on customer deal structures.
Significant experience – minimum 3-5 years – in selling technology or technical products directly/indirectly to one or more of the following Segments: Telecom, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Rail, other mission critical industries. (B2B)
Proven, established sales record within a B2B sales organization having a technically focused product range and having a supporting background and industry knowledge of solution application sales activities.
Familiarity with local regulations and requirements of bespoken segments.
Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality that takes ownership of all sales and presales activities in your filed.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness for cross-cultural communications.
