Sales Manager Telecom -Europe

Location: Germany (Home Office)
Responsibilities:
  • Sales leadership for existing and new accounts.
  • Penetrating new markets and expanding existing market.
  • Provide presentations with technical and commercial expressiveness and filter the “perfect customer”
  • Delivering a robust tactical plan to execute on the company’s business plan in line with growth targets and objectives.
  • Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Expand the company’s regional customer base, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Owning, hitting and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory, segment or accounts.
  • Recruit and enable representatives and distributors.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations & proposals.
Requirements:
  • Academic degree or equivalent, preferably with technical qualifications and/or experience in electrical engineering, coupled with financial qualifications or training.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves working with annual budgets as well as producing financial reports on customer deal structures.
  • Significant experience – minimum 3-5 years – in selling technology or technical products directly/indirectly to one or more of the following Segments: Telecom, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Rail, other mission critical industries. (B2B)
  • Proven, established sales record within a B2B sales organization having a technically focused product range and having a supporting background and industry knowledge of solution application sales activities.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and requirements of bespoken segments.
  • Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality that takes ownership of all sales and presales activities in your filed.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness for cross-cultural communications.
  • Fluency in English, additional language is a plus
  • Experience with SalesForce – an advantage.
