What will be next year’s greatest management challenge for you?
“The greatest challenge will be the transition from being a technology-based company to a fully commercial company serving customers around the globe, and cementing the company’s position among the leading global fuel cell providers. In parallel, we need to expand our production capacity and are dealing with the global logistics crisis as well as with talent recruitment.”
In which new directions will you steer the company?
“Last year we focused on the telecom and energy markets, and in the coming year we will aim to increase our market share in these segments, while in parallel we aim to penetrate the EV charging market which is experiencing enormous growth and presents an great business opportunity.”
Who in your opinion was the most accomplished manager in 2021?
“Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, who proved that in today’s economic climate it would be impermissible to give the answer ‘Impossible’”.
What needs to be done for the growth in high-tech to drill down across the entire economy?
“By expanding to peripheral locations of the country: extending infrastructure for public transportation, increasing budgets for education, providing tax incentives to companies to move their headquarters and R&D centers, reducing income tax for employees that choose to live there. These measures could spur great growth and prosperity.”
