GenCell is among the ten start-ups Israel is sending to fight climate change

Ten companies will make up the delegation representing ‘blue and white’ climate tech
on the world stage
GenCell is extremely honored to be one of the ten stand-out start-ups in the Israeli climate-technology market selected out of 100 candidates to be part of Israel’s delegation to COP27, the United Nations climate conference being held in Egypt in November 2022.
The delegates’ names were announced at the end of PLANETech World 2022 – Israel’s first climate tech conference organized by the Israeli nonprofit innovation community PLANETech. The first time hosting a pavilion at a United Nations climate conference, at COP27 Israel will be showcasing the ten groundbreaking companies at a “technology boulevard” spotlighting their climate technologies.
Addressing a wide range of solutions to climate change-related issues, such as hydrogen fuel solutions, cow-free dairy production, agrotech, weather, at-risk species preservation, plastic alternatives, composting and supply-chain optimization, the chosen start-ups will highlight Israel’s impact on the sector. The delegation includes GenCell, H2Pro, Remilk, Aleph Farms, Groundwork BioAg, Tomorrow.io, Beewise, UBQ Materials, HomeBiogas and Wiliot.
The 10 companies were selected for meeting certain criteria, including current climate impact, potential climate impact, technology innovation, team and leadership, economic potential, and status and relevance for the Mediterranean region.
