Regional Sales Manager – EV Charging & Infrastructure

We are looking for a regional sales manager:

Responsibilities

  • Leadership in the EV charging infrastructure sector;
  • Ability to take a highly technical solution and translate it to the customer at all levels of the organization;
  • Locate opportunities on the West Coast;
  • Build & implement a sales strategy for products while focusing on short and long term;
  • Ability to identify and hunt down relevant qualified opportunities;
  • Collaborating regionally and globally to align go-to strategy with colleagues and partners;
  • Engage with each customer account as the primary point of contact on all aspects of the relationship;
  • Adopt a position of sales leadership across all disciplines in the sales process that are required to engage prospects and develop relationships with  customers.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed technical understanding of the products, solutions, and future portfolio roadmap.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience as well as a keen understanding of sales cycles and how to maximise influence during sales processes;
  • Capable of utilizing CRM for reporting of sales processes.;
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong work ethics;
  • Able to work remotely and independently.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential, as this role involves working with annual budgets as well as producing financial reports on customer deal structures;
  • Active member of EV Charging infrastructure associations;
  • Vast experience in construction/infrastructure;
  •  Significant experience – minimum 5 to 7 years – Management and coordination of EV charging infrastructure;
  • Intimate knowledge of policies, rules and regulations;
  • Proven, established sales record, having a technically focused product range and having a supporting background and industry knowledge of solution applications;
  • Familiarity with local regulations and requirements of relevant segments;
  • A well-known face within the EV charging industry;
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness of cross-cultural communications;
  • Fluency in English, additional language is a plus
